The report draws upon a range of studies and on going research initiatives. The authors are Professor Said Iddi (Director of FBD between June 1996 and January 2005) and Tom Blomley (adviser to FBD between 2003 and 2008) . The Report was prepared with the support of the Danish government and the World Bank.

Zambia REDD Readiness Roadmap outlines the components for readiness and forms the basis for developing the National Joint Programme. The Roadmap was revised through a consultative process in the stakeholder meeting of 29th September 2009.
