Bruno Guay is based in Panama with the UNDP-REDD+ team since January 2014 supporting countries in the development of national REDD+ financial architecture. More recently, Bruno has taken on the role of focal point for UNDP proposals on REDD+ with the Green Climate Fund. Prior to this, Bruno worked with the World Bank on the early operation of the FCPF’s Carbon Fund. Between 2009 and 2012, Bruno was technical adviser to the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a position supported by the UN-REDD program. He has also worked as consultant for private firms involved in reforestation projects for the Clean Development Mechanism and as climate change analyst for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
