A 50-page toolkit with three main sections that (1)review concepts and terms,(2) synthesize lessons learned into two broad themes (planning and implementing participatory monitoring and the main impacts of participatory monitoring), and (3) presents a matrix table of publications organized by theme (forest management, biodiversity conservation and wildlife management, human wellbeing, political processes and institutions, non-timber forest products, ecosystem services).

The Toolkit provides a comprehensive set of tools that build on available sources (UNDAF guidance and other guidance provided by UNDG) to support countries conducting new initiatives, including Common Premises (where feasible), Joint communications, etc. The Toolkit is built around a framework that recognizes the major elements of a more coherent, effective and relevant UN system and corresponds to workstreams in the change management process.

49-page case study on indigenous rights in Jharkhand, India.  This case study focused on conducting interviews with informed and relevant individuals in order to assess the status of tribal rights in remote parts of the State of Jharkhand. The main purpose of these interviews was to have a first-hand assessment of the degree of violation of tribal rights due to displacement and the rehabilitation, if any.
