This document provides a description of a series of specific participatory data collection tools, that were proposed to be used for the PGA data collection in the 3 concerned pilot sites in Cross River State, Nigeria. 

This lecture by Nigerian PGA Research Team Leader Professor Francis Bisong (Calabar University) presents the concept, approach and mindset of participatory research, as well as its key principles, and its added value in comparison with more "traditional" research methods.
