REDD+ in Indonesia and FAO

Indonesia has embarked on comprehensive reforms to land-use policies, customary land rights, regulations and law enforcement to meet its pledge made in Paris in 2015 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 29% from Business As Usual level by 2030 and by 41% with international support. Between 2010 and 2012, Indonesia has been working to create enabling conditions for REDD+ implementation.
