Two New Go-REDD+ Issues From UN-REDD in Asia-Pacific

The latest Go-REDD+ issues from the UN-REDD Programme Asia-Pacific listserv explores how much people who are working on REDD+ understand the economics of REDD+.

The Go-REDD+ issue entitled, “Does REDD+ depend on the concept of Forest Carbon as Property?” looks at a thorny issue of property rights in the context of forest carbon and see if it is really an issue when it comes to context of REDD+.

The Go-REDD+ issue entitled, “Bring on The Dismal Scientists” posts a question if economic models that have been used to predict the extent and impact of REDD+ are still applicable today and if we understand them well enough.
